After contacting the bubble, it spreads rapidly to form a very thin bimolecular layer. As the defoamer further spreads and invades, it replaces the membrane wall of the original foam. Because liquids with low surface tension always flow to liquids with high surface tension, the surface tension of the defoamer is lower than that of the bubble liquid, so the defoamer molecules attach to the surface of the bubble membrane to reduce the local surface tension of the bubble membrane surface, while the rest of the membrane surface still maintains a large surface tension. What Ms. Liu is worried about is not something toxic, but a food additive called “Defoamer King”, which mainly functions to remove the foam floating in the soup when the hot pot is boiling, and it is not toxic. The reporter then visited several hot pot restaurants nearby and found that most hot pot restaurants are using this “Defoamer King”. During the interview, only one hot pot restaurant said with certainty that their soup did not add such products. Some of the other restaurants acquiesced, and some directly said that they must add it, and it would not look good without it, and said that this is a regular food additive and is harmless to human health. The trace moisture in the raw materials has a serious impact on the production of plastic products. Therefore, enterprises generally use additional drying equipment to dry the plastic, which results in a waste of energy and manpower and increases the cost of the product. By using defoaming masterbatch, you only need to add it to the raw materials without changing the production process of the product to eliminate all defects such as blisters, moire, cracks, freckles, etc. caused by moisture. It has no adverse effect on the physical and mechanical properties of the product, saves time and electricity, improves production efficiency, and reduces costs.
