5. Defoamer is not conducive to measurement and verification: During the industrial production process, due to the presence of foam, it interferes with the measurement accuracy of the liquid level meter, resulting in measurement errors. The presence of foam in the liquid increases the density of the liquid. Large fluctuations occur, which can also cause false alarms in the liquid level of the reaction tank, desulfurization tower, distillation tower, causing the operation to become unbalanced, and even cause safety accidents.
6. The first cause of environmental pollution and accidents: due to the overflow of foam plastics, it will inevitably pollute the environment and the surrounding environment, and some may even lead to major accidents. For example: a chemical plant in the United States caused a major fire accident due to the overflow of residual oil foam, resulting in heavy casualties. This not only caused extravagance and waste, but also caused huge losses to people’s personal safety.
