Industry analysis of water-based defoamers
At present, as far as the current water-based defoamers are concerned, the performance of polyether and silicone defoamers is the best, and the modification and development of new varieties of these two types of defoamers are also relatively active. Water-based defoamers are widely used for defoaming in the production processes of detergents, papermaking, pulp, sugar making, electroplating, fertilizers, additives, wastewater treatment, etc. In many industries where they are used, in petroleum and industry, it is widely used for desulfurization of natural gas and acceleration of oil and gas separation; it is also used in the drying of ethylene glycol, extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons, processing of asphalt, dewaxing of lubricating oil and other devices to control or suppress bubbles. In the textile industry, it is used for defoaming in the processes of dyeing, refining, sizing, etc.; in the chemical industry, it is used for defoaming in the processes of synthetic resins, latex, coatings, inks, etc.; in the food industry, it is used for defoaming in various concentration, fermentation, and distillation processes. Silicone grease can be applied to the pot wall, outlet or on the metal mesh for defoaming. Silicone grease can be prepared into a solution and can be used for defoaming in the oil phase system.
