Effect of ink defoamer
The reasons for the foaming of ink printing are:
1. The pretreatment of the substrate is not good, that is, the substrate has not been cleaned before, so that its surface is full of dirt or oil stains.
2. Bubbles in the ink. This is mainly caused by improper ink formulation. When we add additives or solvents to stir, some bubbles will be mixed into the ink. If we let go, the ink with lower viscosity will defoam naturally, while the ink with higher viscosity will not defoam naturally. Although some bubbles will be naturally eliminated during the printing process due to the effect of the ink swivel chair, other bubbles will become larger and larger.
3. For some transparent red, transparent blue and transparent green inks. Because the amount of organic pigments in the microparticles is reduced, the adhesive material of this type of ink has the characteristic of easy foaming.
4. Too fast or uneven printing speed is also the main reason for the generation of bubbles.
This ink defoamer has a special effect on the foam generated by the ink, especially the micro-foam, and has the advantages of small dosage, long foam suppression time and good water dispersibility. The product has good compatibility with the ink and will not affect the film formation, shrinkage, fisheye and other problems.
