Dilution method of defoaming agent
Defoaming agent is an auxiliary agent whose function is to eliminate foam formed by materials during the production process.
Silicone defoamer is a white, viscous emulsion. In chemical, paper, coating, food, textile, pharmaceutical and other industrial sectors, silicone defoamer is an indispensable additive in the production process. It can not only remove foam on the liquid surface of the process medium during the production process, thereby improving filtration , separation, gasification, liquid drainage and other effects of washing, extraction, distillation, evaporation, dehydration, drying and other processes to ensure the capacity of various materials holding and processing containers.
Wrong dilution method:
1. Dilute directly with water
2. The shear force is too high during dilution and stirring.
3. No fungicide is added after dilution
Harm:
1. The defoaming agent breaks the emulsion in layers and affects the effect;
2. Precipitation occurs and affects product quality;
3. Destroy the defoaming agent structure and cause product failure;
4. It smells bad and affects the user experience;
Correct dilution method:
1. Configure thickening water
① Prepare 10-20% NaOH solution
② Prepare a solution of 2-3% ASE60 thickener
③Adjust pH to 7-8
2. Thickening water to dilute defoaming agent
According to the dilution ratio, slowly add the thickened water to the defoamer and stir. During the production process (60-70 rpm), do not use high shear stirring to dilute;
3. Add fungicides
After stirring evenly, add an appropriate amount of fungicide, stir evenly and then filter and release the material.
