Classification of defoaming agents
There are many kinds of defoaming agents, which have the characteristics of breaking foam and having strong diffusion effect. Their main categories are introduced below:
1. Alkali-resistant defoaming agent. This kind of defoaming agent can quickly defoaming, long-lasting foam suppression, good stability, low dosage, high efficiency, and does not bleach oil. It is mainly suitable for papermaking, textile, printing and dyeing and other industries, and is used as a cleaning agent and other high-temperature agents under strong alkali conditions. Strongly alkaline water forms a defoaming system.
2. Highly efficient fermentation defoaming agent. This defoaming agent overcomes the shortcomings of ordinary silicone defoaming agents such as poor high temperature resistance and short foam suppression time, and has incomparable advantages over traditional defoaming agents.
3. Water-soluble defoaming agent. This defoaming agent can be quickly dissolved in water, has strong defoaming and foam suppression functions for water-based foaming systems, and the addition amount is small. It has low cost of use and is an ideal defoaming agent soluble in water.
